Although the majority of the Trawangan islanders follow Islam the island's business & tourist community has strong ties with Balinese (Hindu) and Western interests. Prior to opening Gili Pearl Villa was blessed by a high ranking Balinese priest in an elaborate & lengthy ceremony & the small temple in the right front garden corner, as well as the statue of the elephant-headed god Ganesha at the street entrance are evidence of the blessing ceremony. A bust of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of prosperity, good fortune & beauty, resides in the alcove leading into the bedroom area lobby & watches over the pool & interior living area. The temple & statues are attended to daily with traditional offerings by one of the GPV staff. We hope you enjoy this special aspect of your stay at Gili Pearl Villa.
Each bedroom of our 3 bedroom villa is designed to make your stay relaxing & enjoyable. All have air conditioning plus ceiling fans, an ensuite bathroom, a room safe for your valuables & flat screen TV with satellite IndoSat reception & a DVD player.

Aside from the 2 storied building housing the bedrooms the area immediately inside the front entrance is devoted to a very large living and relaxation space under a vaulted roof cooled by 2 ceiling fans & furnished with sofas, dining table & chairs.
The kitchen & bar are near the entrance & a wall-mounted 52" flat screen TV is at the opposite end. Step outside the under-croft & you are poolside. The pool and surrounds are positioned to catch the sun's rays all day.
